My Momma was a beautiful person…inside and out. In most of the pictures of her, she is wearing a smile. In life, she taught my siblings and me how to smile, how to laugh (even when things weren’t going our way) and definitely how to have a sense of humor. She modeled that one well! She also taught us how to enjoy the little things.

How To Work While Full-Time RVing
Right before I retired, I started making digital download products for fellow elementary principals to help motivate, encourage, and celebrate their staff. At the time, I had plenty of room for an office area at home (i.e., a laptop, printer, paper, supplies, camera, and a photo shoot area) to produce the products. I never dreamed I’d be taking the show on the road…literally. Since 2018,

How We Transitioned to Full-Time RV Living
Last summer, my husband and I had the same short dialog nearly every day for a few months. Husband: We live in a bus!! Me: Do you like it? Husband: I think so. How about you? Me: I LOVE it!! (And then, of course, we would laugh.) We don’t actually live in a bus. We live full-time in a Recreational Vehicle (RV). An older Fleetwood
I Should Hate Themes!
Thank goodness you don’t have to have a theme or decorate your workplace to have fun or be SUPER. But in my opinion, it IS fun! I should hate themes. During my schooling and student teaching years (almost dinosaur era!) thematic teaching was becoming popular. You picked a topic and every subject revolved around that unit theme or topic. For example, if you studied whales,
