If you’ve followed me any length of time, you know I like different! It can sometimes be tricky trying to find a staff activity that everyone will be engaged with. That’s why I created the “Paper Bag Book Staff Activity”. It’s different and lets your staff do the hard work while having FUN! Your crafty staff members will love it, however, it won’t intimidate your non-crafty ones. A little drawing is involved, however, stick figures are permitted. 🙂 It also allows your staff to reflect, set goals, and think-outside-the-box.
The pages that go into the book are already prepared for you. Your staff will be looking back and reflecting, looking at the “now” and writing a short-term goal, and looking ahead to something they want to achieve. Plus, they will determine how often they are thinking about the past, present, or future!
Okay, the book includes boosting staff morale by appreciating co-workers. Funny how my products always circle back to motivating, celebrating, and encouraging, huh? (It’s really important to me! Everyone needs a pat-on-the-back!!)
Although the activity is all prepared for you and a preparation page is included showing you how to fold the paper bags. You make this session as simple or as elaborate as you want. Choose to create the book at one meeting/session or complete it over time. The choice is yours. Options with this download include printing in black and white, BW on colored paper, or printing the color pages depending on your printer ink capabilities.
Again, the book is self-explanatory utilizing writing, drawing (stick figures are fine!), thinking, and crafting (as “crafty” as they want to be!). The staff will be able to work together and have a great time in the process!
Here are just a couple of comments from my customers:
Allison said, “Cute activity. Even the men liked this!”
Denise said, “A fun way to do hard work!”
